Water ConnectionUpdated a month ago
A water connection is an essential connection point. You can brew anywhere as long as there is an inlet and outlet for water.
Connect the water supply
Find a water connection to connect the water inlet tube (hard black tube) to your faucet, and put the outlet (soft black or white tube) into a sink.
The tube has a length between 6,5 to 9,5 feet. This depends on the model. Remember that a water connection is only required during a brew session's cooling and cleaning phase. The water from the tap will not be mixed with the beer.
Pressure and flow requirements
When using water, the pressure needs to be between 29 and 87 psi, with a minimum flow rate of 1 gallons/minute.
.
Standard connection
You will get a standard European water connector (3/4 inch) threaded connector on both sides of the water inlet tube. The threaded connector has an outside diameter 0.31 inch.
Adapter pieces
As each home is unique, you may have another faucet. Measure the outside diameter of your faucet to determine which connector piece you need. These adapters can be bought at your local hardware store.
Tip: Before you start brewing, check that all of the water connectors are attached correctly and not leaking. Check for a black o-ring inside the standard connector if you notice a leakage.
