What's Dry Hopping?Updated a day ago
Dry-hop refers to any hop addition after the wort has been cooled down and the fermentation has started. Dry-hop additions typically happen during the primary or secondary fermentation. The dry-hop can be added straigth into the keg or added by filling a dry-hop bag/basket with the hops and connecting it to the keg lid.
For every 10 gram of hops a trub removal has to be integrated into the recipe to ensure all of it gets removed before tapping a beer. A maximum amount of 60 grams is allowed as dry-hop.
