If you encounter an error message, it's likely due to a component not being properly placed. Fortunately, this is an easy fix that you can resolve yourself.

1. The error typically occurs during the boil mode, either at the start or near completion. When you receive the error, it indicates that the component is not properly calibrated to its zero-position. You will see the following screen in your app/web.

   To resolve this issue, ensure that the black hop carousel is aligned with the yellow dot on the hop cover. When it's misaligned, as shown below, errors can occur.

1. The carousel itself doesn't have the capability to determine its position. It's programmed to rotate from the calibrated 0-position to the specified carousel compartment. Once it loses track of this position, it remains lost until it's reset to the zero-position.
