Keg can't cool downUpdated a day ago

Rest assured, your Smart Keg will most likely function perfectly.

Your Smart Keg is designed to cool your beer down to 19℃ below the ambient temperature, but it may take longer in warmer climates, especially in environments exceeding 26℃. It's adaptable and will still provide a refreshing drink.

Position Cooling technology

It cools most efficiently with 4 liters of beer or more. It becomes more arduous for a cooling capacity below 4 liters, and accuracy is compromised for a cooling capacity below 1.5 liters. The cooling element and sensor, located at the keg's center height (see red arrow), make it less effective when beer levels drop, as it cools air.

Practically Tip

By tilting the keg, as shown in the picture below, the Peltier element will have a bigger surface to cool the liquid, allowing you to reach colder temperatures than the ordinary setup.

Another step is to ensure the cooling element has sufficient airflow and check for dust on the black cover plate. Vacuum or use pressurized air to clean it. If issues persist, please try relocating the keg to a cooler spot.
